Membership_change_to_Spouse – Membership in the American Legion Auxiliary now open to male spouses of U.S. veterans and servicemembers.
Legion_Act– Click here to read information about The LEGION Act – Let Everyone Get Involved in Opportunities for National Service Act — also redefines The American Legion’s membership eligibility dates. The eligibility now span from Dec. 7, 1941, until a time when the U.S. is no longer at war, as determined by Congress.

Aloha Unit 104 Auxiliary collected and packaged move in cleaning and domestic supplies for every apartment. Attending the grand opening (L) Unit President Mary Shields, and (R) Vice President Brooks Lange. Pomeroy Place, was built specifically to respond to the need for more affordable housing for extremely low-income veterans and their families. Pomeroy Place provides 20 units of new, safe, affordable housing for Washington County veterans and their families earning 30% or less of Washington County’s Area Median Income. The development contains 5 one-bedroom units serving veterans who are transitioning from or at imminent risk of homelessness, as well as 10 two-bedroom and 5 three-bedroom units designated for veteran families with children.
